Barons Summer Softball Camps

Overview

Barons Summer Softball Camp will feature instruction on all areas of Softball, including infield and outfield defense, hitting, pitching, catching and base running. Mornings will feature position specific fundamental work in instructor-led stations. There will be a 45 minute break for lunch, followed by live hitting and situational scrimmages taking place in the afternoons. Friday will include camp competitions tailored to the fundamentals worked on during the week.

Instruction will be led by B-CC High School’s Varsity Softball Head Coach, Jenny Mey.

Coach Mey has 12 years of softball coaching experience. In 2014 she was the assistant JV coach at High Point High School. She spent the next 7 years as the head JV softball coach at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and led the Barons JV team to a record of 52-10. In the 2022 season she was the head JV coach at Stone Ridge High School.

She is now in her third year as the head Varsity Coach at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School. She has led the Barons to 2 Region Finals in 2023 and 2025, the second and third time in BCC Softball History.
